Skincare can be confusing – no doubt about it. There are literally millions of products on the market all claiming to do different things with different ingredients. It’s taken me YEARS to nail down a simple skincare routine with non-toxic products that don’t break the bank. If you have no idea where to start when it comes to perfecting your morning and night skincare routine, or you’re looking for some affordable products to try out, this is a great place to start. Let me clarify that I am not an expert. I’m just a 25 year old girl who wants glowing skin without having to sacrifice and arm and a leg to pay for it.

A broke girl’s guide to an affordable skincare routine. These non-toxic beauty products will have your skin glowing in no time without harsh chemicals

What skin type are these non-toxic products good for?

Depending on the time of year, my skin varies from normal to dry. I do not have acne prone skin, so I can’t speak on whether these products would be good for that skin type, so always be sure to consult a dermatologist with specific questions just to be safe. All of the products that I will be sharing are very gentle, and have never given me any issues with sensitivity, redness or making me break out.

Where can I buy these products for a good price?

Everything that I purchase for my non-toxic affordable skincare routine can be found at Target, Ulta, Whole Foods or from the brand’s website directly. Convenience is my middle name, and if I have to go too far out of my way to get something, it’s just not going to happen.

How much do you spend on your morning and night skincare routine?

The most expensive product in this list is definitely my Supergoop Mattescreen spf at $38, however, this product has lasted me over 8 months of DAILY use. There are days in the summer when I have applied this twice a day, and it will still last me an incredibly long time. Therefor, it’s totally worth it to me in my opinion. Every other product in this roundup is well under that price with most things being under $25.
